  St. Francis Garden, Trinity Church, Copley Square,  Boston


     A number of plants of religious symbolism are present in the
planting, including the central flowering dogwood, named "Tree of the
Cross" from its cross-shaped blooms with markings recalling the blood
stains of the nails; and white bleeding heart at the foot of the statue,
symbol of Mary's Immaculate Heart.
