    Re TIME Cover Story on Mary


Friends,

This is to call the attention of any of you who may not have seen it
the cover story on Mary of this week's (March 21, 2005) issue of
TIME, which tells of the numbers of our Protestant brothers and
sisters who are coming to understand and to embrace Mary's
Immaculate Conception, Co-Redemption, Assumption and Mediation, as
well as her Divine Maternity as the Mother of Jesus.

The next step will be the realization that these are all aspects of
Mary's union with God - "The Lord is with you" - made possible
through her immaculate purity, utter humility and total fidelity to
God's word, at the Annunciation, in an unique beginning fulfillment,
in her, of God's desire in creating the world to share the divine
goodness, beauty, truth and action with us humans, created to this
end "in the divine image and likeness" - and this to the fullest.

Through the fullness of Mary' union with God, the Creational desire
for ever fuller divine/human sharing is accomplished through her
heavenly positioning such that she may - in response to our
beseeching that she "pray for us sinners" - receive all our prayers
to God in intercessory adornment, embellishment and augmentation,
making them all thereby also her own for the fullest divine
acceptance by Father, Son and Holy Spirit and bestowal of the prayed
for divine grace, light, wisdom, power and providence, proportioned
through her universal mediation to the receptivity of those praying
and prayed for, for the fullest divine/human sharing in the
grace-guided building and coming of the Earthly Peaceable Kingdom.

In this it is heartening that representatives of the Catholic Church
and other Christian confessions of Iraq consecrated their country to
the Virgin Mary, Queen of Peace in the Chaldean-rite Cathedral of
St. Joseph in Baghdad on March 21, 2003. (See press report appended
to our website article, "Peace on Earth - Fatima Revisited".

Peace will come when, in response to Mary's exhortation at Fatima, a
sufficiency of persons undertake all their daily prayers, works,
adversities, sorrows and sufferings sacrificially, through her
immaculate and sorrowful heart, for and with Christ in his Passion,
in reparation for all the temporal effects of sin in the world, that
delivered from the evil of these effects the hearts and minds of all
- and especially of world leaders, dissidents and insurgents - will
be freed to respond in their inherent, created goodness to the
graces of reconciliation, peace, justice and renewal beseeched in
all the Rosary prayers and sacrifices of the faithful.
